CEO and founder of PayTabs, Abdulaziz Al Jouf recognised as premier influencer of Fintech in the region

Bahrain: Paytabs, the region’s fastest growing payment processing firm today announced its’ CEO and founder, Abdulaziz Al Jouf was recognised by LATTICE80 as the man to ‘know and follow in the Middle East’s fintech sector’.

Abdulaziz Al Jouf, aged 38, edged out 50 other dynamic CEOs to clinch the top spot on the hallmark list. Fintech start-ups in the region are said to have raised over $100 million within the past 5 years with plans to raise over $250 million in funding by 2020. The number of start-ups in MENA’s fintech ecosystem has doubled over the past three years and the region could witness as many as 250 more start-ups by 2020. Collectively, start-ups already employ approximately 1,600 people.
