PayTabs moves needle on payments in Levant region

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The award-winning payment solutions provider PayTabs is set to launch its soft point of sales solution (Soft POS) in Iraq soon, in a bid to elevate near field communication (NFC) payments in the Levant region, Eyad Musharbash, PayTabs’ Regional Head and Operating Partner for the Levant Region exclusively told Sharikat Mubasher.

Musharbash also revealed that the company is gearing up to partner with Middle East Payment Services (MEPS), the regional payment services provider based in Amman, to introduce PayTabs Paymes Social Commerce Platform in Jordan, moving the needle on the payment experience in the region.

Taking steady moves to consolidate its position as a key player in the fintech scene, PayTabs partnered with Nearpay to offer users an advanced soft point of sales (POS) payment experience.

Musharbash stated that the partnership with Nearpay “signifies two prominent Saudi fintech brands coming together on the technological front to empower merchants to grow their business by accepting contactless payments.”

“As part of Saudi Vision 2030, PayTabs believes that collaborations and partnerships are the key to scaling up so that we can leverage complementary strengths, access new markets, and foster innovation, ultimately driving mutual success,” Musharbash concluded.

It should be mentioned that PayTabs partnered with Fintech Galaxy to revolutionize the fintech industry in the GCC region and solidify its position as a key player in the scene.
